Patrick Armitage was born in British Columbia and raised in Northwest Washington but has been living in Brooklyn for the past 13 years while working as a freelance Director and Director of Photography. Specializing in digital and branded content, Patrick has worked on almost every kind of set imaginable; from documentaries and unscripted television to big budget commercials and narrative work. In his time telling stories as a DP, Patrick has traveled all over the world and has developed a clean and modern aesthetic dedicated to naturalistic lighting techniques. On top of being proficient with most digital cinema formats including Arri, RED, Sony, Canon, Panasonic and many others, Patrick has also worked as a Steadicam Operator and is FAA certified as a Remote Pilot for commercial drone operation.
